Here you can find out what goes on during a UK Tiling
Courses training course. We have three courses
on offer which are:
These courses are designed
to set you on your way to becoming a professional self-employed tiler.
Included in the price of all courses are your daily meals, these
are hot or cold lunches which are cooked fresh
daily and delivered to the training centre. You can also find tea,
coffee and general refreshments available throughout the day on
the course.

Week (10 day) Wall and Floor Tiling Course
(including stone and electric underfloor heating installation)
Designed to set you on your way to becoming a professional self-employed tiler.
During the course, you will learn all of the following
- Different adhesives and grouts
- Different substrates
- Tools of the trade
- Setting out walls
- Preparation of walls and floors
- Tiling walls on square, diagonal and brickbond
- Practical cutting (using nippers, dry and wet cutter)
- Cutting around sinks and toilets
- Cutting and putting up trim
for a window
- Tiling over boxed-in pipes
- Tanking(Waterproofing a Shower)
- Grouting
- Sealing with silicone
- Stone theory on fixing, grouting and sealing
- Electric underfloor heating theory and installation
- Brickbond and standard square layouts on floors
- Two floors to be tiled - one on square and one on brickbond over under floor heating cables

Week (15 day) Wall and Floor Tiling Course
(including stone and electric underfloor heating installation)
Designed to set you on your way to becoming a professional self-employed tiler.
During the course, you will learn all of the following
- The Three Week course includes everything from the 2 Week Wall and Floor course with the addition of:
- The third week on the course you will tile a full bathroom to a customer's specs
- You will be responsible for the following:
- Measuring up the job
- Ordering the correct amount of tiles
- Pricing and quoting the job
- Tiling a full bathroom(walls and floor) to completion as per customer's specs

Week (20 day) Wall and Floor Tiling Course
(including stone and electric underfloor heating installation)
Designed to set you on your way to becoming a professional self-employed tiler.
During the course, you will learn all of the following
The Four Week course includes everything from the 2 & 3 Week Wall and Floor tiling course with the addition of:
- Tiling a full kitchen splashback and kitchen floor
This is our paramount tiling course. In total, you will:
- Tile in 3 completely different tiling bays
- Tile bathroom walls in 2 different bays, both completely different - on square, brickbond and diagonal tiling
- Tile a full kitchen splashback
- Tile 4 different floors - one of which you will install underfloor heating cables prior to tiling - on square and brickbond tiling
